Oil Skin Western Duster SOLD

Three quarter length duster made in New Zealand. I have had this coat since the mid 1980's and wore it maybe twice in the 1980's. This coat is made for weather. A lot of rain or snow. In California we just did not get a lot of rain or snow. The cotton inside feels like flannel it is so soft. And the coat is pretty weighty and very warm. It has snaps everywhere to keep the water from seeping in.

You can get an idea of all the snaps in this close up. To clean oil skin you use a damp sponge. No washing necesary.

You can put the collar up for keeping water out as well. Has a velcro closing.

The pocket is very protected against the weather as well.

I suppose the top is made like this so the rain just easily pours off of you. The snaps in the back are for riding. In the saddle you will need more of a slit.

Side view. I really like the cordory collar. I think it gives the coat a nicer look.

The bottom of the sleeve also snaps securily closed.

Not the prettiest shot ever but trying to show you the inside of the coat. The soft cotton and the way the bottom is at a V so not to get wet on the inside. I am sure when wet on the inside of a coat, it is not very warm or comfortable.

Care instructions.
